What is Valend?

Venture Builder for autonomous AI Agents

Valend is a venture builder with the goal of developing companies that can operate with increasing autonomy.

It's not just about making existing processes faster or more efficient through artificial intelligence. Valend is concerned with a more fundamental question:

How can companies be built in which AI agents independently take on tasks, prepare decisions, use other systems, and collaborate with one another?

To this end, Valend develops its own ventures and simultaneously uses them as a real testing ground for new forms of automation and agent-based organizations.

Building companies for autonomy from the start

Classical companies are built for human organization. Processes, software, communication, and responsibilities assume that people gather information, distribute tasks, and execute decisions.

Valend pursues a different approach.

New ventures should be structured from the start so that increasingly many operational tasks can be taken over by autonomous systems.

This can include, for example:

  • Research and market analysis
  • Lead generation and sales
  • Customer management
  • Data analysis
  • Operational coordination
  • Administrative processes
  • Financial analysis
  • Internal communication
  • Use of external software and services
  • People don't disappear entirely from the company. But their role increasingly shifts from operational execution toward strategy, oversight, goal-setting, and accountability.

The long-term goal is to understand how far a company's dependence on human operational work can be reduced.

    This requires a new infrastructure

The more autonomous companies become, the more their AI agents must be able to act outside their own system.

    01Sales Agent

needs to be able to conduct research, for example.

    02Research Agent

needs to find external data sources.

    03Procurement Agent

may need to commission another agent or a digital service.

    04Company Agent

needs to recognize whether an external agent is trustworthy and what rights it holds.

This is exactly where a new infrastructure problem arises.

That's why Valend builds an infrastructure for autonomous AI agents alongside its ventures.
